A talk session on natural vs. lab-grown diamonds will be held in Japan

A panel discussion on natural vs. lab-grown diamonds was held at the Kobe International Jewellery Exhibition in Kobe, Japan, on May 14, 2026.

The moderator was Mr. Ishida of the Grown Diamond Association, and the panelists included Mr. Fukazawa, editor-in-chief of Japan Precious.

The discussion covered interesting topics such as whether lab-grown diamonds can be called gemstones and whether they will be accepted in the Japanese market.
